I get up real early, and get these Pups out. I have 6 that is half brothers and sisters in a bigger starting pen, up on  the top of mountain. Then I have about the same amount, here in the starting pen, in front of my house, that is what I call my Puppy starting pen,, took a small Kubota 4x4 with a back hoe, and up rooted a lots of Privy Bushes, that makes some mighty fine cover, for these wild rabbits. That pen been here over 25 years and I catch wild rabbits and keep it stocked, never over stocked, have an older hound in there that teaches the pups, to Hunt!  Once they get that hunting down, than I move them up the hill, to the larger Running pen.

This 90+ heat is not easy to get them started but they' working at it and they doing well for the conditions, but by noon, I have them back in the kennels, do it all over again next day.

Love working with these pups..
