Nice website. Rabbit hunting in full swing in my home state NJ, been pretty good hunts, considering that I lost some of my rabbit hunting spots. Made some small YouTube clips, Gene Fedor beagles, hopefully the 2nd part of season continues to be good to me.
I'm at a crossroads though with the hounds, lost a lot of my hunting grounds though out the years, traveling over 100 miles in a day to hunt them is getting tiring. I'm hoping for the best in 2018.

that losing hunting ground sucks,but times change and we have to adjust,,my problem here in Arkansas is until 12/29 there is some kind of gun season for deer going on,all land around here is leased out so there is hardly no rabbit hunting until deer season is done,some of these people will shoot your dogs just for sport,

starting 12/29 all the out of town people will pack up and leave,and then I have the woods all to myself,,,,deer season is over then,I would say half those who lease for deer season wouldn't know a rabbit if it jumped in their lap

Gene ;

glad to have you on the Gun Hunting Web Sight, over the years have seen and heard about your pack of hounds!  Always good reports about you all, up there in the cold country..  Like the Preacherman said we always glad to have some New gun hunters on board,, be sure and send us some photo, better still would enjoy seeing some video's of your hunts..

Seems we all experiencing the same thing with the loss of our Hunting lands, here in Ga. they, keep extending the deer season, and looking like they soon will have us down to 28 days in Feb. to hunt ?  Crazy they start shooting them deer in Sept and now running the Season to last of Jan.?

Bossman, is a Lucky man if they close it in Dec.  out his way..

Hello daddy rabbit. Always nice to hear from you.
I'll say till the day I die, the toughest, hardest gundogs I ever saw hunt where 2 little red males that a guy from south NJ had from your kennel.. I hunted with them and they tore apart every briar patch we came across!!!! Since then I always said next beagle would be from you or heavy line bred from your stock! Whatever you do, keep doing, it produces rabbit dogs
