To all the guys and gals that have signed on since March, I want to welcome each of you. I hate I missed you when you came on site.        Jump in here and at least say Hi. I would have tried to have welcomed each of you, but my little mishap kinda sidelined me for a while. I truly appreciate the phone calls from several of you guys. Didn't matter if they were only 5 minutes or an hour or 2 hours they sure did help me pass the time. The longer the better. You know I like talking dogs. You guys that know me knows I am an out door person and a people person, these 5 months have been tough on this old country boy being confined like this. Won't be long, I hope, until I will be going strong again.

When I finally got your phone # The Bossman came up it, was so glad to hear your, voice once more. When I ask what can I do for you, the only thing was Keep me in your Prayers,, that was done, and I continue to do that,, that is some Strong Medican!!

You have came a long way, keep the faith and don't go too fast, sorry I didn't get back with you on the phone, you now me Keep and train lots of pups!  Hard to train them in this heat, and some dry weather.  My old starting pen, don't have but 5/6 deer, inside it two big does and three or four of their little Spotting fauns, they was born inside, can't get out. Mothers jump Out for me to have Baby Sit? So far they have not been any problems for my two older Broke hounds.

Before I lost my 17 acre training pen during the storm a few year ago. I may have had more deer than rabbits. A couple of does would have twin fawn every year, and would stay in the pen because when they were little they couldn't get out. One day we were running a few broke dogs in the pen and my hunting partner kept hearing something coming up the trail behind us. So we stopped and waited a couple of minutes and a baby deer walked right up to us. It was not afraid of us or the dogs. I sure was glad I had the old dogs and not 3or 4 pups. We live in the edge of Holly Springs National Forest and it is covered with deer. People come from far and wide to hunt deer and turkey hunt here. I have let parents bring their children to deer hunt in the pen.
