It is a life long process for sure. There is always another hill to climb. Good luck with those weird creek dogs. I think I may have seen a couple of those myself. You think so D.R.? LOL   Are you located near D.R. Michael?

Hey Brad, had a coon run across the front yard other night and I felt a sense of loneliness. Miss my buddy. I have thought about you several times. I know he loved you guys. Yes, I  come to this site to see what I can learn. You fellows help me a lot. I like the peace and fellowship and rabbit dog knowledge on here. Did I tell you Randy lives up above you at Lowell? I don't remember if I told you or not. You and I are the only two that will understand this statement, but Ronnie had the best Black Creek dogs I ever saw.. Ken

Ken,
I know exactly what you mean my Brother... I keep reflecting back on the last day or two I spent with Ronnie and I keep dwelling upon what a friend Ronnie truly was to the both of us. I announced his passing on the English Forum and it received several hundred views from people reading about the man we so loved and called Mr. Ronnie Hilliard. I wanted to share it with you Ken......

R.I.P. Mr. Ronnie Hilliard
Fellow Englishmen,
I was sadly informed last night that my dear friend Mr. Ronnie Hilliard of Walnut, Mississippi has passed on to his reward with our Heavenly Father yesterday morning. Ronnie was a great friend, a great man, Husband, Father, Grandpa, Christian Brother, and Houndsman.

Ronnie owned many good English hounds in his time and was very proud of his Black Creek strain of English hounds. Ronnie will always be remembered for his kindness, his smile, and his passion for breeding and hunting these English Coonhounds.

Rest in peace Mr. Ronnie and God speed my dear Brother until we meet again in Heaven... Oh what a day that will be.....

I will never ever again be able to look at a coon thru my rifle scope without thinking about knocking him out for Ole’ Ronnie Hilliard... and yes Sir, I hunted with those Black Creek hounds and they were worthy to eat my feed any day.

May God Bless both Pam and you Ken, one day we will understand.... One day farther along.... Take care.

LT,
No worries, your alright. [wink] I cannot recall for sure... Last name sounds somewhat familiar..... I have met a lot of people from Illinois thru raising Coonhounds and have several good friends that still live there today. Thanks. [wave]

Thanks for your post on Ronnie, Brad, I appreciate it very much. Lt I started the post and I got us off subject, but I think it will be alright. Hey none of us are perfect, so we got a lot to do and we still will need THE LORD's GRACE to make it thru.
